As many readers have probably noticed, the content for the Automotive Hall of Fame blog has been mostly published under one name. As such, it was suggested to me that I should write a short bio on myself as some of our audience might like to know a little bit about the person behind the keyboard.

I’ve been told that I’m not exactly a prototypical employee at a non-profit organization, and to a certain extent that’s probably true. At the age of 25, I’m the youngest administrative employee by a long shot. I’ve actually been with the AHF for nearly two years now, having come here as an intern from the University of Michigan-Dearborn. Being crazy for cars, I had asked the people in the internship office if they had any positions that were automotive related, and they ended up sending me here. After the AHF accepted me as an intern, I took over management of their online and email publications as well as some other duties. I’ve been here for the last two induction ceremonies and was in charge of loading vehicles in & out of those events. I’ve also introduced some new ideas at the Hall like our first ever Cars & Coffee event last summer. I continued to work for the AHF after my internship ended and, after I graduated from U-M Dearborn in 2015, the AHF hired me in full time as their Social Media Coordinator.

When I’m not behind my keyboard, you can usually find me in the garage working on one of my race cars. I received an SCCA competition driver’s license in 2012 through Waterford Hills Road Racing and have participated in numerous forms of grassroots level motorsports such as autocross, club racing, rallycross, and even ice racing (you can follow our team’s exploits here). Thanks for enjoying our blog stories and if you’re in the neighborhood, feel free to stop in and say hi!
