The seventh annual Auto Authors Book Fair and Reception comes to the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, Michigan on Friday, November 16 and Saturday, November 17, 2012.
Friday Reception starts at 6:00 p.m.
The reception begins with cocktails and appetizers followed by renowned auto journalist Paul Ingrassia (pictured above) discussing his new book, “Engines of Change: A History of the American Dream in Fifteen Cars.” The book explores how cars have shaped and reflected the American experience, from the Ford Model T to the Jeep.
In addition, Ingrassia will unveil a couple of astonishing cars that provide insight into other cultures around the world!
Ingrassia, the former Detroit bureau chief for The Wall Street Journal, earned a Pulitzer Prize for his auto coverage and is now the deputy editor-in-chief of Reuters.

The Auto Authors Book Fair is sponsored by the Friends of the National Auto History Collection of the Detroit Public Library, MotorCities National Heritage Area and the Automotive Hall of Fame.
