Join the Automotive Hall of Fame, Women in Motorsport North America (WIMNA), and Women Shifting Gears driven by Hemmings for a special event celebrating women in racing. Enjoy a screening of “Boundless: Betty Skelton;” an interview with the film producers and legendary racer Lyn St. James; a panel discussion on women in motorsports; and a special afterglow event.

This event benefits WIMNA, a not-for-profit established by 2022 AHF Inductee Lyn St. James and Beth Paretta. Women in Motorsport is a community of professionals devoted to supporting opportunities for women across all disciplines of motorsport by creating an inclusive, resourceful environment to foster mentorship, advocacy, education, and growth, thereby ensuring the continued strength and successful future of our sport.

The Automotive Hall of Fame is pleased to support this event and all proceeds will benefit WIMNA.

3:30 p.m.: Doors open.

4 – 4:25 p.m.: Welcome and Introduction: Automotive Hall of Fame President Sarah Cook and Founder and CEO of GSEvents Cindy Sisson.

4:25 – 5:15 p.m.: Screening of “Boundless: Betty Skelton” film: “First Lady of Firsts” is what the headlines called fearless Betty Skelton. Post World War II, she became one of the most admired women in America. Her breathtaking stunts in the air made her an international aviation legend, but her success in grabbing the wheel of a race car started a movement.

5:15 – 5:45 p.m.: Panel discussion on the making of “Boundless: Betty Skelton” with FOX NASCAR Cup Producer Pam Miller; Founder and CEO of GSEvents; and legendary racer Lyn St. James.

6 – 7 p.m.: Panel discussion on Women in Motorsport NA with legendary racer Lyn St. James; Founder, Owner, and Team Principal of Paretta Autosport Beth Paretta, racer Taylor Ferns; and GM Sports Car Racing Program Manager Laura Wontrop Klauser.

7 – 9 p.m.: Afterglow – Mingle with the panelists and other guests while enjoying beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres.
