Marianne Schrode has been a part of Dassault Systèmes since 1994, first as a strategic partner and then, from 2004 to 2019 she was employed full-time by DS, eventually rising to the title of VP of Industrial Global Affairs.
She began her career as an Educator but transitioned to the computer and transformation industry in 1983 enjoying work at Wang Laboratories, Digital Equipment Corporation, EDS and IBM.
Marianne is Vice President Industry Global Affairs. She is responsible for developing channels of industry companies, opinion leaders, and C-level executives that lead to business networks, and reveals the value of Dassault Systèmes as the 3DExperience Company to improving business processes and inventing a sustainable future.
Marianne has been in the Automotive Industry for most of her career with responsibility for Automotive Tier 1 Suppliers and Global OEM’s enjoying positions in Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Organizational Leadership and Industry Global Affairs.
Marianne received both her Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree in Administrative & Organizational Studies from Wayne State University, but she is quick to point out that she has learned much from the people she has met in her work and personal life.
She is on the Board of the Automotive Hall of Fame, an active partner with the Michigan Science Center, a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers Detroit Section Global Leadership Conference Committee, and involved with Henry Ford Health System’s Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology, “EyesOn Design”.
