Bill leads the Automotive Restructuring and Performance Improvement Practice in the Detroit office of KPMG. He is a senior financial executive with over thirty five years of professional experience in the manufacturing sector. He has hands on experience successfully operating companies at various “C” level positions as well as providing guidance via his consulting practice to a number of Fortune 100 companies. Bill’s experience has included acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, labor negotiations and turnarounds. Prior to joining KPMG, he was CEO of a Turnaround and Restructuring firm as well as COO and CFO of a number of manufacturing companies.

Bill has helped hundreds of companies improve performance, enhance enterprise value and maximize their bottom lines, in addition to helping troubled companies develop winning strategies, negotiate settlements and implement effective go forward action plans. He has represented many of the large automotive manufacturers around the globe with the Supply Risk Management efforts and has served these organizations with some of the largest distressed supplier cases. Bill has also worked with many minority firms to help them deal with the unique challenges facing this industry sector and is highly regarded as a reputable mentor.
