From Collector to Advocate: The Robert Tate Exhibit Grand Opening

For many, collecting is merely a hobby, but for automotive historian Robert Tate, building his collection has become intricately tied to every aspect of his life. From playing with toy cars on a replica of the I-94 expressway, to becoming an expert advisor for the National Automotive History Collection, Tate is a classic “Car Guy” and one of the only African American automotive historians, researchers, and collectors.

Join us on September 29, 2023 to explore the exhibit, enjoy light refreshments and hear from Robert Tate himself in a Q&A session with Brian Yopp, deputy director at MotorCities National Heritage Area. This event is free and donations will be accepted. The Automotive Hall of Fame is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
