As the General Assembly Area Manager – Lansing Car Assembly Plant, North American Vehicle Operations at General Motors Corporation, she is responsible for 1,800 hourly and 100-salaried production, maintenance and engineering employees on three shifts in two plants. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the Leaders of Manufacturing Program and a Master Degree in Business Management – Sloan School of Management.
