For a dedicated life as a driver, mechanic, and an official of the ‘500’ Indianapolis Races for more than forty-three years. Credited with the introduction in 1937 of the first rear-engine car, the ‘Oldfield Special’ powered by V-16 Marmon engine. For contributions and service as a consultant, designer, and builder in the automotive industry from 1904-1945. For loyal support to our country through service in the armed forces.
