Under his leadership as Automation Specialist for Ford Motor Company, Bastian launched two modular powertrain assembly lines as Engineering Leader and successfully implemented a program to eliminate end of line hot testing, a Ford Motor Company first. In 1998, Bastian and his project, Advanced Integrity Analysis were nominated for Ford’s most prestigious technical award, The Henry Ford Technology Award. Bastian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University and was admitted to the Executive Management MBA program at Michigan State University.
