O. Temple Sloan is Chairman of General Parts. Inc., a national parts company with 25 distribution centers and 620 stores in 37 states. Sloan also founded CARQUEST, a group of automotive parts distributors with 1,240 independent stores and annual sales of $1 billion. He has served Chairman of the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association and was the Automotive Man of the Year in 1989.
