Carl Sewell opened the doors of Sewell Village Cadillac in Highland Park, Texas, in 1957. Today, Sewell Village Cadillac has 112 service bays and a 90,000-square foot building on 11 acres. Besides being Chairman of Sewell Village Cadillac, he is Chairman of Sewell Lexus, Buick, Hyundai, GMC Truck, and Oldsmobile in Dallas, and Sewell Cadillac-Chevrolet in New Orleans. Sewell has written a book. Customers for Life, a “how-to” book on customer service, which has sold over 500,000 copies and is printed in eight languages.
