Larry W. McCurdy was named Executive Vice President, Operations, for Cooper Industries’ Automotive Products segment in 1994. He joined Cooper in 1992 with the acquisition of Moog Automotive, Inc., where he had served as President and Chief Executive Officer since 1985. He continued to serve as President of Moog Automotive from 1992 until April, 1994. Previously, McCurdy had served as President and Chief Operating Officer ofEchlin, Inc. from 1982-1985. This followed a 26-year career with Tenneco, Inc., where he had held various management positions, including Senior Vice President of Tenneco Automotive, President of Walker Manufacturing Company, and Executive Vice President of Tenneco’s North American Operations.
