As a chief engineer at Honda R&D Americas, Inc, Hargett has overall responsibility for the development of the all-new 2009 Acura TL and for all aspects of the vehicle’s performance and customer appeal.  With 16 years at Honda, he has earned a reputation for his knowledge of electrical distribution and electromechanical systems. He has received a U.S. patent and has completed a number of individual research projects, many resulting in new technologies that have been applied to Honda and Acura products.  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University.
