He was the owner of Green Holding Co., in Jacksonville, Illinois. The Green Holding Company, established in 1982, oversees and manages nine dealerships and other businesses. He served as Chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association from 1990 – 1991. In 1990, was chosen by Automotive News as one of the 10 Major News Makers of the year for his achievements in manufacturer-dealer relations.
