David Sinclair, Dealer Principal-Owner of Dave Sinclair Ford, broke with four generations of family tradition when he left the police force in 1956 to sell cars. A decade later he launched Dave Sinclair Ford and quickly began winning accolades from Ford. In each of the lost 20 years, he has been one of Ford’s top 20 volume dealers. In ’84, ’85 and ’86, he was the highest volume Ford dealer in the U.S. Sinclair has served as Chairman of the Ford Dealers Council, and other dealer associations.
